cant send an email using the buddies icon

Description
attempt to send email from emesene opens a browser.... pointing you to yahoo ?????????
log into yahoo... the TO: box says mail to: <address you want>
is there anyway to make it go to hotmail... since the login details are already in emesene or at least remove the mail to:
