TURKISH LANGUAGE : PROBLEM WITH SMILIES

Reported by: ebalic@… Owned by: somebody
Priority: major Milestone: 1.1
Component: other Version: 1.0
Keywords: smilies Cc:

Description

Hi,

I just want to report that there is a problem in Turkish Language translation files. The smilies in chat window have not been seen since I have changed my OS's language to my native language(Turkish). In English, there is no problem at all, but I think there is a problem in Turkish language files for emesene.

The original smilies for emesene seems to be hidden in conservation window but user's own smilies are successfully downloaded and seen instead of original smilies. And that show the translation's mistakes causes a problem in smilies themes.

I would like to know where the translation files are. So I can check and fix happily.

i'm thinking to report this thing. i've never tried english.. but that's very weird.. i was thinking this is a pnglib or a graphic issue. because custom smilies (gif) are working but there is no png smiley visible.. an extra, you can see them in writing area, but nothing seems in conversation area..

Confirmed. An extra information: Turkish language has capital "i" i mean we've: "i,İ,ı,I" i think your code is not compatible to this. Look this link, a package manager GUI (Portato) had same problem.. http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-5005844-highlight-seqizz.html#5005844
