Ok, this is almost impossible. I had some problems with backups, and tried to restore an archive with reiserfsck -S --rebuild-tree. That fscked up the whole partition, taking some parts from existing files. The forum database backup was one of those files... and it was hurt in the middle of forum_posts.MYD.

I've started using emesene, since it's now perfectly functional.. for me, all basic stuff works

There's just one little thing: I'd like to have some spacing between groups when they are collapsed, not a big deal I suppose. Another thing I'd love to see is something as Group_name [2/10] so we can see how many contacts are online. That would be nice

Bah, everyone makes a stupid mistake once in a while. If you're going to need to replace the forum, why not use phpbb, or IPB or something like that?

hey i've been having a little trouble with emesene, when im chatting suddenly i stop receiving and sending messages and the contact list doesnt refresh anymore, this is kind of anoying beacuse emesene doesnt give me any error message so i dont know if my contact still there or no or who recenly conected, im using fedora core 6 with the lastest svn repository(guess 919) anyone having the same issue?

weird, try enabling debug: preferences > connection tab > first option

yeahh restore the forum AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLEASE or get working a new one, thought that's the best way to keep improving this already good piece of software i really think that emesene could be the best msnclient in a non windows enviroment
