These 2 windows are repeated every time 10 or 15 times, making my desktop full of exception warnings.
The problem only started when I added 2 contacts using ebuddy. Obviously, no problems using Pidgin.

EDIT: the 2 exceptions don't show up when I "close" (not showing up) the only group where I have strange contacts (one from China and another French-speaking). Could it be a bug related to strange characters?

EDIT2: seems really related to chinese characters in the personal message of this contact of mine.

Hi everybody !

I'm using OpenSUSE 10.3 with Kde 3.5.7 and emesene 1.0 final (don't know which python and gtk libs you're using so i'll say LATEST ! ^^)
These errors occurs when I open the "Interface" tab in the preferences (in reverse order).
If I switch to another tab and go back to "Interface", the error messages don't come back. But they do if I close the preference dialog and then re-open it.
