I attach the plugin with contact offline event and when login it notifies if there are mails on inbox, done because if not it wasn't looking good with notification or libnotify extended plugins

When you choose default theme it play sounds? If so, do you rename sounds as the default ones (case sensitive in linux)?

nope, after i tried to use the other sound theme it doesn't works even if i select default sounds... i simply added the "new_sound_theme_folder" into the dir /usr/share/emesene/sound_themes and when i saw it wasn't working i just deleted it...from that moment emesene doesn't play sounds anymore!

yes, thanks! i already solved the problem...i had to disable "System beep" from the sound plugin. works fine now cheers!
