Hello, I know that this issue was discussed in
this post but is closed and I want give my opinion.
I do not understand your opposition to create subforums for languages other than English, moreover, argues that the developers do not understand but that is not true.
+ Subforums other languages are used to help people with little knowledge of English (a large majority) in the use of Emesene. The developers here have nothing to do.
+Subforums of other languages to help a community grow as participation and dissemination of Emesene would be higher.
Do not you have stopped to think that perhaps the community is small because it is restricted to just one language?+All projects now famous subforums have at least one or two language, aMsn is a good example.
This is my model of international forum:
-> A forum main English-speaking,
a meeting place for English speakers and developers Emesene.
-> After a number of subforums with one or 2 category (if possible) for the support and others.
A good example is the forum project aMule:
http://forum.amule.org/And.... Why not use the
Google translator?
Well, for several reasons:
-The translation is not perfect. Sometimes it is very bad.
-There is nothing comfortable going translating text by text.
-It is much simpler and easier to communicate with people who speak the same language.
