Remember 1.0?
Some of you may have noticed the massive ticket-closing in the last week. That could be because… we are trac addikts, like the pidgin guys.
Anyway, we want to release 1.0 as soon as possible. But we still have some “blocking” tickets, the first five: #99, #106, #26, #27 and #32.
The “major priority” ones are bugs, but we couldn’t reproduce them yet, and we can’t fix; the “normal priority” ones are features — big features.
File transfer and Direct connect may be easy, but they require lots of time and concentration — because they are big.
Ink, sadly, is “at risk”. The last time I worked with pygif, I just got corrupt images everywhere. Finding the bug there will be hard, so if 1.0 is ready before pygif, we’ll leave it for 1.1.
BTW, we are always looking how to implement exciting new features for 1.1. Webcam, for example, doesn’t seem that hard now… but with this I don’t mean that it is going to be in 1.1.

Well , it’s sad that a soft like Emesene just get 1 comment
!
…
I find that it’s the BEST im ever
!
Well it’s a LOT buggy for now , but i’m sure it gonna be great in no time
!
Check out some Contact List problem’ and if possible disable de CONTACT LIST closing when clicking on systray icon (it make me crazy when i click 9 time before the contact list show ‘cuz i click too much :p or i double click) !
The File transfer may be great
, but the bugs first , the features after ;-D !
Good Luck ! I’ll be very pleased to help you if i can do something on the Design / Infography part of Emesene (For the moment , i’m not planing on geting on a part as big as Prog’ especially on Ubuntu / Python :-S )
Cheers to Emesene

dx -> Hey :-p I wasn’t just critisizing (erf!) your Job !
Well , as Mummy’s defend their baby’s , Dev’s defend their Softy’s
!
But i just noticed some lil’ things that may be good :-p !
For the “unstability” , it’s because i’m often experiencing some “FORCE TO QUIT” windows when using Emesene Intensively , and the eternal problem of “Stuck Windows” wich came like 1/5 of the time !
But it won’t make me back to that crap of GAIM (Pidgin is a lil better , but not as good as Emesene is ) !
Well
Dx , You have a lot of work to do !
P.s.: Can we enter on contact to see if there is some way i can help it grow ? O_o

Forget the webcam for now and focus on the file transport! The world is waiting for this, the rest is imho secondary for the moment! File Transfer is a must!
keep on rocking guys!

Hey man just want to say that your program is showing lots of potential and I hope it grows into a nice fully featured (or at least for the most part) msn client. I’d be willing to switch from aMSN once you got pretty much all the features it has. But for now it’s lacking. I will keep an eye open for future releases though. Good job.
